Hi Guys,
With only 3 months to the Nationals, IPRAWA have to finalise their budgets for
the meet, to ensure we break even, so we have implemented a few things which we
hope you will appreciate and understand.
#1 - At this stage the EOI's for
the event close at the end of July, with entries closing on the 15th of August.
What we have voted on is that if your EOI is not in by the end of July then we
will be unable to assist with tow money.
#2 - The entry fee has been set at
$480 and will include your competitor pack, carport fee, Friday (welcome) and
Sunday (presentation) function food, TV coverage on both Speedweek and
Insidespeed and tow money assistance if you live outside WA. Great value when
you look at the package.
#3 - Entry numbers are to be set
at 64 if the grid is not full at the close of the EOI period, being July 31st.
If 64 entries are received before July 31st we will increase the entry limit to
80 to encourage more runners.
What this means is that if you have your EOI in before the end of July you will
be guaranteed an entry and receive tow assistance.
If you have your EOI in after the 31st of July you MAY get an entry and WILL NOT receive any tow money
assistance to help with your costs.
We have had to implement these measures to ensure that IPRAWA stays a
financially vibrant and growing club into the future, we hope that you
understand.
If you have any questions at all please feel free to email me directly at mkennedy@citymotors.com.au
and I will get back to you with an answer ASAP.
We do hope that you can make it to WA for what will be one of the last big
meets there before the major upgrades happen over the next few years.
