Tyre Supply for IPRA Nationals at Island Magic, 21-22 November 2009
Official statement from IPRA Victoria, 11/11/2009
Q: I pre-registered and paid $100 deposit and now I have to cancel. Can I get my $100 deposit back?
A: Please let us know before 31 October to ensure a full refund and enable us to allocate your position to someone on the reserve list.
Q: How is the Yokohama sponsorship money being used this year?
A:
For the past few years there has been approximately $8000
of Yokohama sponsorship money allocated for tow money at the IPRA Nationals.
Tow money was then divided amongst the interstate
competitors who attended the Nationals event.
For this year’s Nationals at Phillip Island the Victorian
Committee has decided to use the $8000 to subsidise the entry fee.
With an unprecedented number of entrants expected,
subsidising the entry fee has the dual benefit of easing the administrative
burden for the Committee in splitting and reimbursing money, as well as enabling
us to provide benefit across the entire competitor group.
Please be aware that with approximately 60
interstate entrants already entered for the event the tow money allocation was
not going to be a substantial amount - approximately $135 per interstate
entrant.
In preparing the budget for the 2009 Nationals some 12
months ago, the Vic Committee had a few particular goals it wanted to realise.
With the lack of additional sponsorship on offer it
became obvious that to achieve these goals, the Club would have to dip into its
own funds to make the event as cost effective as possible, all the while making
the event as good as it can be.
So please be assured that each Nationals entrant is
receiving above and beyond the $135 tow money that could have been put on offer
and that IPRA Victoria is putting in a few thousand dollars of its own money to
support this event.
Q: How many weekend/gate passes are included with my Entry fee?
A: Each entrant will receive 5 weekend gate passes with their Entry. That includes one for the competitor plus four guest passes. Additional passes are available by pre-order at a discounted rate of "buy 5, get 1 free". Otherwise tickets will be available on the day at the Gate.
Q: How much are entry fees?
A: 3 day package is $680.00 which includes Friday practice, 3 day garage/powered marquee access. 2 day package is $490.00 which includes Saturday/Sunday track time and garage/powered marquee access. Take $100 off these amounts if you already paid a $100 deposit with pre-registration. All cheques are to be made payable to IPRA Victoria. This includes payments for Friday practice, entry and additional weekend passes.
Q: When will entry forms be mailed out?
A: Entry forms have been mailed out. You can now also find entry forms electronically on the IPRA Vic Nationals webpage.
Q:
How do I know my
registration/entry and payment has been received

on the doors for category sponsor stickers.

How much will additional tickets cost for the Saturday night social function?
